Gables Eatery Wins Burger Bash At SOBE Wine & Food Festival

MIAMI BEACH (CBSMiami) -- A South Florida restaurant won the title of best burger at the coveted Burger Bash during the South Beach Wine and Food Festival.

The bash kicked off Friday evening for it's ninth year.

The Pincho Factory won the Amstel Light People's Choice Award for their  "The Croquesta" burger. It's a brisket, short rib, and chuck croquette topped with Swiss, pickles, mustard, and mayo in a brioche bun.

The South Florida eatery beat out some of the nation's top burger chefs.

The burgers weren't the only stars of the night.

The event was hosted  by Rachel Ray at the the Ritz-Carlton South Beach hotel. The all-star judging panel included Chrissy Teigen, George Motz, Dan Le Batard, Katie Lee and Geoffrey Zakarian.
