Reports: Disney World Tickets Set To Pass $100 Mark

MIAMI (CBSMiami) – You may want your bank account to wish upon a star before heading to Disney World after this weekend.

Ticket prices are expected to jump, possibly as soon as Sunday, Feb. 22nd. This time, the price hike will break the $100 mark.

According to Theme Park Insider, a website dedicated to theme park news and information, the one-day price of an adult ticket to the Magic Kingdom will rise from $99 to $105, while the one-day adult ticket price for the other three parks, Epcot, Hollywood Studios, and Animal Kingdom, will rise from $94 to $99. Prices for multi-day tickets and park-hoppers will increase down the line, as well.

Disney raised its ticket prices on Feb. 23 last year.

Disney's price hike could lead to a price increase at its competitor park, Universal Orlando Resort, which usually raises its prices after Disney does.

The Orlando Sentinel states Disney has not yet confirmed the price increase and has had no comment.
