NEW YORK (CBSMiami) – Football season may be over but that hasn't stopped New England Patriots tight end Rob Gronkowski from pledging his allegiance to the Pats and showing their AFC East rival Miami Dolphins a little disrespect.

While hanging out in New York City with Patriots teammate Chandler Jones and a couple of friends, Gronkowski was spotted by TMZ Sports and put on a little show for the camera.

First he mentioned that he would be interested in one day appearing on Dancing With The Stars, then started showing off a couple of his dance moves.

Unfortunately for the TMZ camera guy, he happened to be wearing a Dolphins hat when he spotted Gronk.

At first, Gronkowski just jokingly told the cameraman that he had to remove the hat before they could continue their chat.

Later, Jones asked for the hat and then handed it to Gronkowski and told him to spike it.  So he did, in the only way he knows how to spike things, very hard.

It's all in good fun because Gronkowski is a goof ball, but it shows that the Dolphins-Patriots rivalry is something that the players take with them even into the offseason.
