BROWARD (CBSMiami) — A mobile home, apparently used for junk storage, caught fire at a Broward residence on Saturday.

A neighbor reported seeing heavy smoke from the home at 4300 S.W. 21st St. and called 911.

Firefighters said they got this fire under control pretty quickly, but it looked pretty scary for awhile because the flames had spread into some large trees.

No one was injured, but firefighters say everything in the trailer was destroyed.

"Everything that's in there was gutted it appears most of this was scrap to begin with or junk to begin with so what we had was a lot of stuff in this double-wide. Fortunately it doesn't appear it was occupied at all it was just used for storage and the damage was contained by our firefighters," Mike Jachles of Broward Sheriff Fire Rescue.

Firefighters said that mobile home is on the same property as another home and another trailer, but the fire did not spread to either of those structures.

It's unclear how the fire started.
