PEMBROKE PINES (CBSMiami) – It's was feast for the senses at 99.9 KISS Country's 2015 Chili Cook-Off.

Attendees were treated to topnotch country acts from superstar Brad Paisley to the trio known as The Band Perry and even newcomers The Swon Brothers.

"From what I understand, there isn't a lot of chili. I feel kind of ripped off," Brad Paisley jokingly told CBS4's Lisa Petrillo.

That's because the fest is really an all-day dance-a-thon that celebrates country music at its core.

"Part of the fun of this is that everyone gets to play country for a day," said KISS FM radio personality Kenny Walker.

Thousands of fans were dressed head to toe in country couture at C.B. Smith Park in Pembroke Pines.

"For me, it's tradition. Growing up I would listen to my dad, family, everybody coming out here having a great old time. And me coming out here with my friends, girlfriend and everybody, it makes it awesome," said fan Kyle Kennedy.

Chili was definitely on the menu as judges readied for the 123 bowls entered into the signature contest.

Team Hialeah Chili said their secret ingredient was love and camaraderie.

For those that may have missed a musical performance or weren't interested in the chili, there was always the option of kicking up their heels at a rocking line-dance hall.

This iconic hoedown seems to be getting bigger and better every year.
