MIAMI (CBSMiami) – Darren Weissman – otherwise known as Doctor Dribble – runs marathons and half marathons. But here's the catch. He does so while dribbling two basketballs.

"It's definitely an extension of my body, I feel like it's connected to my hands," said Weissman.

He holds the Guinness world record for the fastest marathon while dribbling two balls.

But he doesn't do this for the attention. He does it for his charity - Doctor Dribbles Helping Hands.

"I buy brand new basketball with the money that is donated, and give free basketball clinics with under privileged kids and give away all the basketballs that I raised," said Weissman. "I'm more concerned about helping others, impacting the community, than what my actual time is in the race."

While Doctor Dribble runs for charity, he's also a basketball instructor.

He teaches players of all ages and even has a few current NBA players on his resume.

You can catch Weissman this weekend at the Miami Marathon running the half marathon portion – dribbling for charity.
