The victim has been identified as Khiar Raymond.

According to officials, the woman was seen driving to the rear of Station 5 following the crash and parking the car. She got out of her car, walked toward the crash scene and then turned around, got back into her car and drove away, police said.

Police are still looking for the suspect vehicle - a red or maroon Mercedes of a C-Class type, possibly a C230 Kompressor with damage to the passenger's side mirror and front bumper.

It is possible that the car was exiting the area of Quantum Lake Villas just prior to the crash.

Witnesses or anyone with information is asked to call Traffic Homicide Investigators Jose Rivera at 742-6114 or Charles Turco at 742-6111.
