Focus on South Florida: The ALICE Report

The United Way's "ALICE" report places a spotlight on a large population of hardworking people, who, although employed, have little or no savings, and are one emergency away from falling into poverty."ALICE" is an acronym for asset limited, income constrained, employed. In Broward County alone, we could be talking about some 300-thousand households.
