Search For Gunmen Who Killed North Dade Store Owner

MIAMI (CBSMiami) - The search is on for two people who shot and killed Miami-Dade convenience store owner Thanksgiving morning.

The pair walked into the store at 13101 N.W. 27 Avenue just before 10 a.m. and picked up a couple of items.

When 40-year old Rashid Keblawe went to put their items in a bag, one of the hoodie wearing bad guys pulled gun and shot him. Then both jumped over the counter and beat Keblawe. When he went to fight back, they shot him multiple times.

Keblawe died before help could arrive.

The pair then ran out of the store. Surveillance video shows them get into an older model Buick 4-door and drive off.

Keblawe's family said he was the oldest of four siblings. He and his wife were expecting their first child in January.
