Mom, Daughter Give Birth On Same Day, Same Hospital

MIAMI (CBSMiami) - A Ft. Myers mother and daughter gave birth to babies on the same day in the same hospital.
Heather Penticoff gave birth to Madeline on November 11th. Heather's mother, Destinee Martin, gave birth to her son Damien.
The women had the same doctors, and the same due dates. Then for separate reasons, doctors decided to induce labor on Tuesday.
"This is something that you can't plan. This is something God set in motion and you just roll with the punches," said Martin.
"To have my mom going through it with me is actually like probably the most special, amazing thing ever," said Penticoff.
The babies were born about three hours apart.
Family members say it's like having twins in the family.
