Motorcyclist Injured In Pembroke Pines Hit & Run

PEMBROKE PINES (CBSMiami) - A motorcyclist was hospitalized after being injured in a hit and run accident in Pembroke Pines.
The crash happened around 6 a.m. in the eastbound lanes of Pines Boulevard, just west of University Drive.
Police said the driver of the Mercedes which struck the motorcyclist fled to the near by Heron Ponds apartment complex where she abandoned the car.
Police fanned out to search the complex for her. The injured motorcyclist was taken to Memorial Regional Hospital with what were described as non-life threatening injuries.
