Child Dials 911 After Witnessing NW Dade Shooting

MIAMI (CBSMiami) - Police are searching for a man who reportedly shot a woman in the chest in front of children in Northwest Miami-Dade Tuesday afternoon.

Miami-Dade police said the shooting happened at 5315 NW 30th Place at around 3 p.m.

According to authorities, an 11-year old and 13-year-old.  The 11-year-old called 911.

It is unknown if the child is related to the two people, but police have described the shooting as domestic.

The woman was able to speak with police before she was taken to the hospital.

The suspect fled in what was described as a 2010 maroon Honda Accord.
