NORTHWEST MIAMI-DADE (CBSMiami) – A woman wanted for injuring a man after she smashed her car into a Northwest Miami-Dade Laundromat has been arrested and appeared in bond court Tuesday.

Tiffany Taylor is charged with Aggravated Battery with a deadly weapon and leaving the scene of a crash with serious bodily injury. Bond was set at more than 17-thousand dollars.

Police had been looking for Taylor since early Monday when she allegedly drove her car into the Wash World coin laundry, located at NW 58th Street and 27th Avenue.

Sabrina Bullard was working the overnight shift when she said she got into an argument with the woman, described as a regular customer.  This was after the woman had already gotten into a fist fight with another customer about parking, Bullard said.

Bullard said her son Adolphus Melvin stopped by the Laundromat to make sure his mom was okay after the incident.

At around 2:30 a.m. the woman, now identified as Taylor, came back and that is when police said she started to spray an unknown liquid at Bullard and Melvin.

They said the woman then got into her car, stepped on the gas and ran into Melvin. The impact sent him flying through the glass doors of the Laundromat, fracturing his leg.

"I thought the lady was coming back to apologize, but she jumped out of the car with a spray bottle and her son got in the way to protect his mom and the lady jumped in the car and drove through like a mad person," employee Cherry Davis said.

Melvin was taken to Jackson Memorial Hospital for his injuries.

"She could have killed my son over something he had nothing to do with," Bullard said.

Taylor, police said, woman drove away in a 4-door beige Chevy Caprice.

Details of her arrest have not been disclosed.
