NORTHWEST MIAMI-DADE (CBSMiami) – A man was hospitalized early Monday morning after a woman smashed her car into a Laundromat and police said this was no accident.

Sabrina Bullard was working the overnight shift at Wash World coin laundry, located at NW 58th Street and 27th Avenue, when she said she got into an argument with a regular customer.

This was after the woman had already gotten into a fist fight with another customer about parking, Bullard said.

Bullard said her son Adolphus Melvin stopped by the Laundromat to make sure his mom was okay after the incident.

At around 2:30 a.m. the woman came back, and that is when police said she started to spray an unknown liquid at Bullard and Melvin.

The woman then got into her car, stepped on the gas and ran into Melvin. The impact sent him flying through the glass doors of the Laundromat, fracturing his leg.

"I thought the lady was coming back to apologize, but she jumped out of the car with a spray bottle and her son got in the way to protect his mom and the lady jumped in the car and drove through like a mad person," employee Cherry Davis said.

Melvin was taken to Jackson Memorial Hospital for his injuries.

"She could have killed my son over something he had nothing to do with," Bullard said.

Police said the woman drove away in a 4-door beige Chevy Caprice.

"I hope they catch her because what if she came back now. I gotta [sic] be watching my back maybe if she comes back,"
