Steering You Right: Major 836 Lane Closures To Avoid

MIAMI (CBSMiami) -- There is a major traffic hot spots that drivers need to be aware of this week.

All westbound 836 lanes will be shut down between I-95 and NW 27^th Avenue Wednesday and Thursday from 9 p.m. to 7 a.m. each night.

Those same lanes will also be continuously closed from Friday at 11 p.m. through Monday at 5 a.m.

The alternate route is State Road 112.

In addition, the eastbound 836 lanes will also be closed between NW 27^th Avenue and NW 12^th Avenue Saturday starting at  10 p.m. to 8 a.m. and Sunday 10 p.m. to 5 a.m.

All northbound lanes on I-95 at Miami Gardens Drive will be closed and traffic will be detoured Wednesday between 1 a.m. and 5 a.m. The entrance ramp from Miami Gardens Drive to northbound I-95 will also be closed.
