"Operation No Grow" Busts 13 Alleged Marijuana Grow Houses

MIAMI (CBSMiami) – Miami-Dade police detectives busted more than a dozen alleged grow houses for Operation No Grow.

Detectives with the Narcotics Bureau identified 13 houses in Miami-Dade County and arrested 11 people.

The operation involved detectives simultaneously making contact with the individuals at the residences.

Detectives found diverted power lines, use of multiple chemicals and poor ventilation.

According to officials, six firearms were recovered along with more than 500 pounds of marijuana valued at approximately $2 million.
