Crist, Scott Make South Florida Campaign Stops
MIAMI (CBSMiami) -- Two men who want your vote this November for governor made campaign stops in South Florida on Wednesday.
Chanting in Spanish with a crowd of supporters in Southwest Miami-Dade, Gov. Rick Scott delivered his message in two languages. He spent the day campaigning in Miami and Boca Raton. He's rallying supporters as voting begins in less than two weeks.
"This election is not about Charlie Crist or Rick Scott," he said. "It's about your family, what's good for your family. What's good for your family is more jobs. More trabajos!"

Scott encountered a few protestors in Boca Raton, some yelled, "Why do you hate women, Governor Scott?"
But Scott brought along some well-known political muscle, New Jersey Governor Chris Christie.
Cristie told supporters to watch out for Democratic challenger Charlie Crist in the upcoming debates.
"There is going to be no better debater on the Democratic side than Charlie Crist because he's done it before and Charlie's done it from every position one can do it from," he said laughing.
At a much more low key campaign stop in Tamarac Charlie Crist encouraged his supporters to keep knocking on doors.
"I want to thank you again, encourage you to do whatever you can these next 27 days," he said. "Let's go win this thing! God bless you, God bless Florida."
While both candidates keep hammering home their messages on education and the economy, they have sharply different views on the hot topic of same sex marriage.
When asked whether Florida should continue its legal battle against same sex marriage despite a recent US Supreme Court ruling, Crist answer, "I support same sex marriage. I believe the Attorney General ought to basically cease and desist."
Scott responded to the same question, "Ultimately, the courts are going to decide and we'll follow what the court decides."
However, when CBS4's Ted Scouten replied to Gov. Scott, "Hasn't the court decided?"
Scott said, "No. It's going to go completely through the court system."
Early voting begins on Monday October 20.
Find out more about both candidates at 7pm on October 15th. That's when CBS4 Anchor Eliott Rodriguez will moderate a gubernatorial debate.
The debate will broadcast live on CBS4 and stream live on CBSMiami.com.
