Teens Thrown From Motorcycle In Miami Car Crash

MIAMI (CBSMiami) - Teens riding a motorcycle were launched several feet after crashing into a car on Monday morning .

At around 10:30 a.m. City of Miami Fire Rescue received a report of a person not feeling well.

When crews reached the intersection of N.W. 30th Ave. and 4th Street, they were met with more than a sick person; they arrived to a brutal crash.

MFR found two teenage boys, ages 17 and 19, on the ground with serious injuries. One of the teens was thrown nearly 20 feet from the mangled motorcycle; the other teen was near the BMW. Both were taken to Ryder Trauma Center in serious condition.

The woman driving the BMW was still in the car when rescue arrived. She suffered minor cuts and bruises, and was treated on the scene.

City of Miami police are still investigating the crash. They have not released the identities of the teens or the driver.
