NCIS Los Angeles Back In Action Monday On CBS Primetime
MIAMI (CBSMiami) -- Chris O'Donnell and LL Cool J are back in action as specials agents Callen and Sam Hanna in the 6th season of the crime drama NCIS Los Angeles.
When the show ended last season, the duo was trying to seize a drug cartel and found themselves stuck in a submarine ready to explode.
"Me and Callen are in sub and Sam and Callen are going through a life-altering experience because anytime you face death in any way it leaves a stain on your soul," explained LL Cool J.

"It's kind of a suicide mission all of a sudden, said O'Donnell. "This sub is rigged with explosives and headed for a naval base out of Santiago so things are not looking real good for Callen and Sam right now."
That is where Monday night's episode will pick up but it's safe to say that off-camera, things are looking good for LL and Chris.
In addition to his acting career, LL is an accomplished rap artist with a new album just dropping and for the past several years he's been host of the Grammy awards.
"A long time ago I made a decision not to limit myself and you know if you have lot of talents you should utilize them," LL said. "Sometimes it works sometimes it doesn't. I always try to maximize anytime I have anything inside of me, any dream I want to accomplish, I go for it and see what happens."
Chris O'Donnell keeps it closer to home accomplishing many things as dad to 5 kids.
"I have a great wife," O'Donnell said. "We do teamwork. Our weekends are busier than weekdays. This is where I escape for peace and quiet, on the film set with these knuckleheads but it's great."
These two actors have to stay in top shape for their roles. LL gained 17 pounds recently because he wanted Sam to be stronger.
When CBS4's Lisa Petrillo asked about his physical shape and told him he's looking better an ever, he replied, "Look at these guns! I feel good. I'm working out. Your man is feeling good, he joked.
"He's a very large dude," said Chris. "His guns are like marble. Mine are like Jell-O compared to his solid matter," joked Chris.
NCIS Los Angeles airs Monday night at 10:00 p.m. on CBS4.
