Chihuly To Exhibit New Work At 'Art At Fairchild'

CORAL GABLES (CBSMiami) - Art at Fairchild is back again, this time it includes a garden exhibition by renowned American artist Dale Chihuly.

CBS4 Miami is a proud Gold Sponsor of the 2014-2015 Art at Fairchild season.

Every year, Art at Fairchild invites international artists to display their works throughout Fairchild's 83-acre tropical garden. The group supports conservation work, education outreach, and science programs.

Chihuly's exhibition can be seen starting from December 6th, as part of Art Basel Miami Beach and will continue through May 31, 2015. His art will be placed throughout the garden exhibits, including the Palm Collection, Rainforest, and the new Wings of the Tropics exhibit.

Chihuly previously exhibited his work in the garden but this year, he will debut new works of art that have never been seen before.

He is said to have revolutionized the studio glass movement within fine art.His work is included in more than 200 museum collections worldwide.

For those who want to see his work in Florida,  general garden admission for Art at Fairchild is $25 for adults, $18 for seniors 65 and up, $12 for children 6-17, and free for Fairchild members and children 5 and under.
