Police Activity At Metrorail Station Due To Suspicious Item
MIAMI (CBSMiami) -- A metrorail station in Northwest Miami-Dade has been closed down due to a suspicious item.
Miami-Dade Police are at the Palmetto Station located at 7701 NW 79th Ave investigating a book bag which was left there.
Authorities said there are delays of an estimated 45 minutes for those heading southbound on the metrorail.
In the meantime, Miami-Dade transit is using buses to transport people from the Okeechobee and Palmetto Stations.
