Historic Landmark Turns Aqua & Orange For Fins

MIAMI (CBSMiami) -- A national historic landmark turned aqua and orange to kick off football season and it wasn't the only one.

The Freedom Tower at Miami Dade College was illuminated in Miami Dolphins colors Thursday evening.

Former Dolphins greats including Hall of Famer Larry Little and MDC alumnus Nat Moore were at the illumination ceremony along with the team's mascot.

The tower will remain illuminated from Sept. 3rd to the 6th and then from the 19th to the 20th.

The InterContinental and Miami Tower are also illuminated in aqua and orange in honor of the team.
