Imagine their faces when a 10-foot alligator peeks its head above water or a brightly colored tropical snake slithers past the group. Keeping it fun at Everglades Holiday Park is always easy and that's the beauty of a class field trip. After the airboat portion of the trip concludes, students will enjoy a 15-20 minute presentation with live alligators. Animal planet's Gator Boys keep everyone entertained and on their feet with a great show. Plus, they do a fantastic job of providing expert information about the American alligator, the surrounding ecosystem and the importance of Everglades preservation efforts.

A field trip to Everglades Holiday Park is more than an adventure for the kids, but an opportunity for educators to enjoy themselves as well. Take in the Florida sunshine from the comforts of a state-of-the-art airboat and relax under the Banyan trees as the class enjoys exploring the park grounds. After an exciting hour on the water and an adrenalin-charged alligator presentation, teachers are encouraged to coordinate a picnic lunch on our grounds. Children can bring a bag lunch, or choose from a variety of fresh selections at our fully stocked deli for ease and convenience. We have plenty of green grass and a pavilion for up to 75 for continuing a lesson plan or just relaxing.
