Deputy-Involved Accident Leads To Pet Rescue Using Jaws Of Life

POMPANO BEACH (CBSMiami) -- A deputy got into an accident with another driver in Pompano Beach on Tuesday morning, sending the other car into a gas station.

The deputy and another car with a 73-year old woman crashed while driving on Copans Road near NW 3rd Avenue.

Pompano Beach Firefighters had to take the female driver out of the car by cutting the door off. She then told rescue crews her Yorkshire Terrier was trapped inside the passenger side of the car.
