MIAMI (CBSMiami) – Some City of Miami firefighters found a puppy, took him in and gave him care, but now the pup is in need of a forever home.

The City of Miami Fire Station 3 firefighters came upon a puppy while working and responding to calls.

They passed the puppy several times, and after realizing the puppy had not moved, they decided to pick the puppy up.

The puppy was in bad condition but the firefighters provided him with proper care and with the help of a rescue are getting the puppy the shots he needs.

The rescue, however, is full and the firefighters can’t keep the puppy.

If you would like to adopt the pup contact Friends Forever at (786) 229-9002.
