Parkland Detectives Search For Peeping Tom

PARKLAND (CBSMiami) – Parkland detectives are searching for a Peeping Tom targeting residents in the communities of The Grand Cypress Estates and The Landings.

Laura Drigo, on March 24 around 9 PM, was in the shower when she noticed the silhouette of a man peeking into her bathroom window.

Drigo, according to Broward Sheriff's Office, tried to confront the man but he had already fled. Drigo's neighbor saw the man running from her home. Security cameras captured the man walking around the victim's property for over 45 minutes.

Police describe the man as a white male, possibly in his late teens or early twenties, 5'10" with a thin athletic build. He was wearing dark shorts and a light zip-up hoodie.

A week later, on April 1 around 10 PM, Lisa Ponczek heard noises as she slept and noticed a man standing outside her bedroom sliding doors. Ponczeck banged on the door, startling the man who then fled.

Anyone with information is asked to call Broward Crime Stoppers, anonymously, at 954-493-TIPS (8477) or www.browardcrimestoppers.org. Crime Stoppers will pay up to $3,000 for information that leads to an arrest.
