MIAMI (CBSMiami) – A 39-year-old man arrested Friday for allegedly fatally stabbing another man at a gas station last week appeared in bond court Monday.
Lizandro Bohorquez appeared before a judge Monday and was ordered held without bond.
Police passed out flyers Friday searching for Bohorquez. According to police, a tip came that he was seeking medical attention at Jackson Memorial Hospital’s Emergency Room.
Bohorquez is accused of stabbing Reynaldo Martinez behind a gas station near NW 7th Street and NW 51st Avenue Tuesday after the two men, described as acquaintances, got into an argument. Martinez tried to make it home, leaving a trail of bloody footprints, police said, but he didn’t survive.
Bohorquez, upon arrest, was charged with one count of second degree murder.
