MIAMI (CBSMiami) – The one-time fierce rivalry between the New York Knicks and Miami Heat has been a pretty one-sided affair in recent years with the Heat dominating the Knicks when it counts most.

Sunday in Miami, the Heat once again took on the Knicks and LeBron James put on a clinic against the team from New York. But, the Knicks nearly had an equalizer in J.R. Smith.

While LeBron was scoring 38 points in the game, Smith decided to start shooting three-pointers, and shooting three-pointers, and shooting three-pointers. By the time the game ended, Smith had hit 10 of an NBA record 22 three-pointers in the game.

It was a fun duel while it lasted, but in the end, LeBron and the Heat were once again too much for the Knicks.
