MIAMI (CBSMiami) – Be ready for a hot afternoon across South Florida with temperatures nearing the upper 80s.
Most areas along the coast will reach the middle 80s. The humidity will increase on a southerly wind between 5 and 15 mph with gusts close to 20 mph during the afternoon.
Boating conditions will be good, but breezy at 10 to 15 knots and a bit bumpy on the bays with a light to moderate chop. Sunday night will remain dry with lows near 70 degrees.
Monday, the first half of the day will be dry and hot with highs near 87 degrees. Late in the day, the sea breeze could fire up a couple of stray showers for northern communities.
A cold front will move through South Florida Tuesday and bring a better chance for rain. Behind the front, temperatures will be cooler with highs Wednesday in the upper 70s.
