WASHINGTON (CBSMiami/AP) —Two U.S. Representatives made a friendly wager on Saturday’s basketball game between the University of Florida Gators and the UConn Huskies.

U.S. Representative Debbie Wasserman Schultz  is rooting for the  Florida Gators while Rep. Joe Courtney is rooting for the Huskies.

The teams play Saturday after making it to the NCAA Final Four Semifinal.

Congressman Joe Courtney is a graduate of University of Connecticut Law School. Wasserman Schultz is a two-time University of Florida grad.

Schultz said: “the Gators are playing at full strength, and with legendary coach Billy Donovan at the helm, Florida is just one Husky road-kill away en route to their 3rd basketball championship.”

If Florida wins, Courtney will provide a gift basket of eastern Connecticut signature treats including Cato Corner Cheese, Jarmoc cigars and Cottrell Beer.

If Florida loses, Schultz will provide platters from the Gainesville’s Burrito Bros. Taco Co.
