Former UM Tackle Signs One-Year Contract With Dolphins

MIAMI (CBSMiami) - The Miami Dolphins are still looking for starters on the offensive line, but have signed a free agent tackle who might provide valuable depth.

The Dolphins signed former Detroit Lions (and University of Miami) tackle Jason Fox, the team announced Wednesday afternoon.

Fox was a fourth-round pick of the Lions, but has never made it into the starting lineup for an extended period of time. He's started a total of three games, all last year, during his four-year career.

While not a starter, he's a veteran who knows the area and could be a good backup at either tackle position.

The Fins are likely looking at May's NFL Draft to fill in at least one more starting position on the offensive line.
