MIAMI (CBSMiami) – Miami-Dade police detectives have released the sketch of a subject  they believe robbed a business Tuesday where the owner was pistol-whipped.

The robbery took place at 17001 NE 9th Avenue just before 12:30 p.m.

Richard Chierico, the business owner said the subject entered the business’ office with a gun and demanded money.

Chierico was pistol-whipped, according to a police report, and shots were fired toward an employee, Emilia Colon, as the subject fled with an undisclosed amount of money and jewelry.

The subject may have been wearing a wig as part of his disguise.
