Steering You Right: Ramp Work On Dolphin Expressway

MIAMI (CBS4) - Construction crews are heading back to the Dolphin Expressway this week.

The eastbound exit ramp to NW 17th Avenue will be closed tonight at 9 p.m. and not re-open until 5:30 a.m. on Wednesday morning. The two eastbound right lanes before the exit will also be blocked off.

Drivers need to watch out because when the ramp re-opens it will be in a new location just west of the old ramp.

The Snapper Creek Expressway is getting a makeover.

What does that mean for you? All the westbound lanes between Galloway Road and the Don Shula Expressway will be closed nightly. Expect the lane closures from 9 p.m. to 5:30am through Saturday.

It's also another week of lane closures on the Don Shula Expressway.

All northbound lanes will be closed from Kendall Drive to the Palmetto Expressway every night from 9 p.m. to 5:30 a.m. until Saturday. The entrance ramp from Kendall Drive will be closed as well.
