MIAMI BEACH (CBSMiami) – A waterfront Miami Beach mansion has been dubbed “The Dream Home.”
The waterfront estate, located on North Bay Road, is described as elegant, modern and flawless and the price tag is only $23.5 million.
Realtor Nelson Gonzalez is the one of 3 owners of the jaw dropping home, built by Brodson Construction.
“The house is on market for 23 and half million dollars. The house is a little over 12 thousand square feet, with about 100 feet of water front,” Gonzalez told CBS4’s Lisa Petrillo as he gave her a first-hand look at the property.
The expansive estate, with Burmese teak exteriors and oversized wide-open rooms, was styled by Artefacto Design House.
Founder Paolo Bacchi saw an incredible canvas to work with when he and his team created a look and style for the home.
“This is a house that needs to be used to entertain, so we tried to function the furniture in a way that’s all integrated,” explained Bacchi.
The kitchen is state of the art in every way. There are three built-in refrigerators and includes the latest in everything. It’s the ultimate chef’s kitchen. No detail has been left out.
“The marble is all Calcutta Gold and it has these really cool electrical outlets that pop up and push down,” Gonzalez explained while showing of the high-tech features.
The elegant dining room is filled with light and luxury.
There is a also a space that’s not often seen. A small closet is actually a bullet proof escape hatch, also known as a safe room.
“The walls are lined with steel Kevlar bullet proof lining as is the door. There’s a dedicated internet line, phone and refrigerator, so God forbid someone comes in, and you come in and call the police and sip champagne!” Gonzalez said.
Upstairs is yet another luxurious living room filled with texture and taste.
“It’s all natural fibers, natural linens and everything focuses on the beautiful coffee table. It’s made with 19th century wood from India,” said Artefacto’s Bacchi.
Then, there’s the master suite.
“It’s got an entire view of the water, private master terrace, 2 outdoor showers. Really the best of best,” said Gonzalez
The master bath is a design dream.
A 2-sided vanity both with hidden TV’s opens the room followed by a giant shower with double rain shower heads. Open the water closet door and the lid of the toilet magically opens.
Outside, a complete summer kitchen with double overhead flat screen TV’s that neighbor the oversized infinity edge pool. There’s an outside living room and even a rooftop party deck.
The Dream House is priced at $23.5 million but there’s a separate pricing package if you want the elegant Artefacto furnishings included.
