Stanton Hits Moon Shot Against Mets

JUPITER (CBSMiami) - It's not often that a baseball player can show you just how much he's worth with one swing of the bat, but Miami Marlins star Giancarlo Stanton tried his best today during Spring Training.

In Stanton's fourth at-bat of the day, he stood at the plate and hit the ball so hard it almost landed somewhere in West Palm Beach.

Stanton is hitting .368 in 19 Spring Training at-bats including seven hits and one home run. He's struck out just twice during the early part of spring ball.

in case you were wondering, the Marlins pounded the New York Mets in the game, 11-1. Marlins pitcher Brad Hand struck out 5 batters in three innings of work for the Marlins.
