Report: Zimmerman Signs Autographs At Gun Show

ORLANDO (CBSMiami) – George Zimmerman continues to embrace his "celebrity" status among gun enthusiasts around the state of Florida. The man known for killing Trayvon Martin appeared at a gun show over the weekend to sign autographs.

According to TalkingPointsMemo.com, Zimmerman made an appearance at a central Florida gun show on Sunday. The show had to be moved by its organizers after it was revealed Zimmerman would be signing autographs at the show.

Zimmerman has kept his name in the news either voluntarily or involuntarily since he was acquitted of murder for the shooting death of Martin. He's had several run-ins with the law over speeding and other issues.

But he's also been in the news when he toured the manufacturing plant of the gun that was used to shoot and kill Trayvon Martin. Zimmerman used a 9mm Kel-Tec pistol to shoot Martin and he toured the plant of the gun maker last August.

Zimmerman also agreed to fight rapper DMX in a celebrity boxing match that was later canceled.
