Go Ahead And Make Plans To Be Outdoors This Weekend

MIAMI (CBSMiami) – Sunny skies and pleasant temperatures return to the forecast just in time for the weekend.

After a strong line of thunderstorms with wind gusts close to 60 mph Thursday, the weather Friday is much calmer, but a bit windy.

A cold front will move across the state bringing a slight chance of a shower as late as Friday afternoon. High temperatures Friday afternoon will land in the middle and upper 70s.

Most of the day Friday will be sunny with a mixture of clouds throughout the day.

Cooler and more seasonal temperatures will settle in late Friday night with many areas of South Florida seeing 50s for overnight lows.

Saturday morning will be the coolest morning of the weekend.

Saturday afternoon will be extra nice with plenty of sunshine and high temperatures in the middle and lower 70s.

Temperatures late Saturday night and early Saturday morning will also be cool.

Jackets would be a good idea.  Lows will reach the 60s with a few isolated 50s around the inland areas.
