Craigslist Meeting Ends In Armed Robbery

MIAMI (CBSMiami) —  A man trying to sell his iPhone on Craigslist met up with a person he believed wanted to buy the phone only to find out it was a hold up.

Broward Sheriff’s Deputies arrested Manuel Frometa, 22,  on Wednesday on a charge of armed robbery.

The victim was trying to sell his phone for $300 via a Craigslist ad.

Frometa  allegedly met with the victim for a purchase meeting.

The victim noticed that the money Frometa allegedly gave him was fake.
