NORTH MIAMI (CBSMiami) – The family of a North Miami woman missing for more than two weeks is not letting up in their efforts to find her, handing out flyers and increasing the cash reward to $6,000.

Noemi Gonzalez, 54, disappeared from her North Miami home February 12th.

Gonzalez’s son, Pedrito Gonzalez, said he last saw his mother when she was sleeping in her bedroom at 2 a.m. on February 12. When he woke up and checked on her at 8 a.m., he said she was missing.

Thursday night Gonzalez’s sister, Maria Castillo, handed out flyers to people shopping and eating in Aventura.

“We have prayer circle, we have many churches praying, many people praying and we are hoping and having faith that we can find her,” said Castillo.

Castillo said Gonzalez’s large family is flooding Miami-Dade and Broward counties with flyers in hopes that someone knows, or can help lead them to Noemi Gonzalez.

The family is offering a $6000 cash reward for information that leads to Noemi Gonzalez’s whereabouts.

If you see Noemi Gonzalez, or have any idea where she is, please call the North Miami Police Department at 305 891-0294.
