The local group “Arms With Ethics” is organizing local mayors and police departments to use their economic power when buying from gun dealers to demand stricter rules on how they are sold. This group was started in the aftermath of the Sandy Hook Elementary School shootings and the realization that nothing will be accomplished nationally, that the key is local governmental action.
