Security Officer Opens Fire At Little Havana Supermarket

LITTLE HAVANA (CBSMiami) – An altercation at a Little Havana supermarket Wednesday evening left one person in critical condition, and a security officer with a head injury.

The security guard, according to City of Miami Fire, was forced to open fire during an altercation at Presidente Supermarket in Little Havana Wednesday night.

One adult male was transported with multiple gunshot wounds to Jackson Memorial Trauma.

The security officer was hit over the head with an object and was taken to Ryder Trauma with head trauma.
