Two Charged In Shooting Death In Boca Raton

BOCA RATON (CBSMiami) -- Two people have been charged in the shooting death of a man in Boca Raton.

Erin Steele and Joshua Henry are charged with manslaughter and culpable negligence.

According  to Boca Raton Police,  they interviewed four people and present at the apartment at the time of the shooting back in December and they all provided the same version of events.

The resident of the apartment located at , 21445 Town Lakes Drive, and her friend, Joshua Henry were hanging out and called some other friends to come over.

Erin Steele, Justin Holt, and another friend arrived at the apartment a short time later.

Henry had brought a handgun with him and was showing the group the gun, allowing them to dry fire the gun. He later reloaded it and set it on the counter.

Later that evening, Steele allegedly picked up the gun from the counter pointed it at Holt and fired it. Holt later died at the hospital.

According to police, Steele had a high level of THC in her system after having smoked  marijuana earlier.
