Three Year Old Child Ejected From Vehicle During Crash
FORT LAUDERDALE — A 3-year-old child was critical injured after being thrown from one of two vehicles involved in an accident on Broward Boulevard in Ft. Lauderdale.
The accident happened Saturday near the intersection of NW 9th Avenue around 6:30 p.m. A Ford Explorer and a Dodge Neo collided.
Mark Crittendon, 31, told The Sun-Sentinel he ran to the Neon and tried to help the woman behind the wheel. That's when he saw the child on the ground.
He said police and paramedics arrived quickly. The child was taken to Broward Health Medical Center.
Police have not released the names of those involved in the crash.
