Police Search For Man In Subway Stickup

CORAL SPRINGS (CBSMiami) -- Coral Springs Police are asking for the public's help to identify a man accused of robbing a Subway sandwich shop last month.

According to police, the man walked into the Subway located at 6290 W. Sample Road on January 24th just after 9:00 p.m.

Surveillance cameras caught the man walking into the restaurant, right before the alleged strong armed robbery.

Once inside the man walked over to the 17-year-old employee behind the counter, and allegedly told him, "You're going to listen to me. I need all the money in the register."

At that moment, another store employee came in from the back of the store. Both employees ended up giving the robber an undisclosed amount of money.

The robber then ordered the employees to wait five minutes before calling the police, he then ran out through the front of the store.
