Fins Introduce Varied Ticket Pricing & More Season Ticket Benefits

MIAMI (CBSMiami) – The Miami Dolphins on and off-the-field struggles have impacted attendance. So, the team is looking to fill the seats again with some sweeteners for season-ticket holders and a new overall pricing scheme.

According to CBS4 news partner the Miami Herald, season-ticket holders will see more benefits this season, depending on the quality of the seats. All season-ticket holders will get a dedicated customer service representative and local entertainment discounts.

The Herald reported that higher-priced plans will also come with invitations to draft and tailgate parties, pre-game field passes, a family day at SeaWorld, and even a yacht party.

The more impactful part of the Dolphins' ticket plans is reminiscent to what the Miami Heat do with its ticket prices. The Dolphins will use variable ticket pricing this year which will see the prices of some games much higher than others.

For example, securing a ticket to see the Dolphins play the New England Patriots or Denver Broncos will cost more than a ticket to see the Fins play a team like the Oakland Raiders.

A similar ticket pricing method will be applied to the cost of season tickets. According to the Herald, that will result in 26 percent of season-tickets seeing a decrease in price, 18 percent seeing an increase in price, and the rest staying the same.
