What’s Open And Closed On MLK Day

MIAMI (CBSMiami) – Monday is the official observance of Martin Luther King Jr. Day and a number of offices will be closed.

Federal, state, county and municipal offices will be closed as will Miami-Dade, Broward and Monroe County offices. Courts in all three counties will be closed as will public schools.

There will be no trash collection in Miami-Dade.

The stock market, post offices and banks will also be closed as will county libraries.

Broward County regional parks, neighborhood parks, nature centers and natural areas will remain open.

Miami-Dade and Broward transit systems will operate on their normal schedules. Tri-Rail will operate on its normal schedule.

Malls and grocery stores will be open.
