MIAMI (CBSMiami) — Miami-Dade Transit will be working on track repairs adjacent to the North side Metrorail Station causing lane closures starting Friday.

The lanes closures will take place every weekend starting Fridays at 8 p.m. until Mondays at 5 a.m.

From Thursday to February 17th, all eastbound lanes on NW 79th St., between NW 30th and 31st avenues, will be closed. There will be two-way traffic on the westbound side. The only exception will be on Saturdays between 9 a.m. and 7 p.m. which is when the outside lane will remain open.

Starting February 21st, all westbound lanes will be closed and there will be two-way traffic on the eastbound side of NW 79 Street.  That will go on until March 31st.
