Police Investigating Two People Shot In Miami
MIAMI (CBSMiami) – Two people were shot, around the same time Wednesday night, in Miami and now police are investigating both incidents and searching for motives.
Miami Police officers, around 7 p.m., responded to 230 NE 55 Terrace after receiving 9-1-1 calls about someone shot.
When police arrived, according to Miami Police, there was a young black male with multiple gunshot wounds lying on the ground in front of an apartment complex.
At the same time, police officers received reports that a man had been shot at 125 NE 56 Street.
Police arrived to find another man also suffering from gunshot wounds.
Both victims were transported in serious condition via Miami Fire Rescue to Jackson Memorial Hospital's Ryder Trauma Unit.
It is unknown if the shootings are related and whether both took place in just one location.
The motive remains unclear and the investigation continues.
