Coast Guard Assists In Search For Missing Teen

MIAMI (CBSMiami) – The Coast Guard is assisting in the search for a teenage boy who went missing in the water off the Boynton Beach Inlet.

Around 7:45 p.m. Sunday, the 16-year old was swimming with his cousin near the north jetty at Boynton Beach when he went under the water and didn’t resurface.

The cousin made it to shore and called the police who alerted the Coast Guard.

Palm Beach Fire Rescue and Palm Beach Sheriff’s Office crews are also searching the area.
