Sunny Sunday On Tap

MIAMI (CBSMiami) - A weak cold front moved through South Florida early Sunday morning and will bring better weather for the afternoon.

High pressure will build over the southeastern U.S. for Sunday afternoon. That means blue skies with only a few passing clouds. High temperatures Sunday will be between 78 and 80 degrees for Broward, Miami-Dade and Monroe counties.

Evening plans should be dry with pleasant temperatures in the lower 70s and overnight lows will be in the upper 60s along the coast. Middle 60s are likely near the Everglades.

Another decent day is on tap for Monday, but a shower chance is possible late in the day. Highs Monday should be in the lower 80s.

A new and stronger cold front moves in late Tuesday night and will bring cooler air by Thursday and Friday mornings. Lows those days will likely reach the lower 50s with some upper 40s possible for inland locations.
